Gravitating towards personal, cutting, and stylistically refreshing approaches to filmmaking, Prima Materia aims to develop and create stories that urge hearts and souls to participate with the culture of cinema and the world around them.

Prima Materia Pictures has produced several award-winning films shown in acclaimed festivals such as Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand, Locarno, and TIFF. Projects in development have participated in programs such as Cannes’ Cinefondation Residency, Asian Project Market, Berlinale Script Station, Locarno Academy, and Sundance Lab.
